Warranty

Most items sold at Ecobiom pty ltd come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Should you wish to
make a warranty claim please contact us first and we will endeavour to assist through our
supplier’s. Occasionally you will be able to make a claim through our supplier directly at ours
and our supplier’s discretion. For an item to be considered under warranty there must be a
fault with the item. It is the discretion of the supplier to replace or refund the item.
Sometimes the supplier will request the item to be returned to them before they make a
warranty decision so they can assess the item. The supplier has the right to repair or replace
the item at their own discretion and no consideration will be entered into by Ecobiom pty ltd
for a replacement or loan item while the warranty is being investigated. Ecobiom pty ltd is not
liable for any warranties without the consent of the supplier.
In the case of a warranty claim, Ecobiom pty ltd may request that you return other
components that work together with the item at fault at your own cost and without a
replacement so that we can conduct our own testing prior to contacting our supplier. Should
we not be able to replicate the fault, the item will be returned to you and we will not be liable
for any out of pocket expenses incurred on your behalf.

Proof of Purchase

Proof of purchase must be accompanied by all warranty claims. Ecobiom pty ltd offers
refunds and/or replacements if an item is faulty, not fit for purpose, or doesn’t match the
description, not change of mind. No proof of purchase will result in a claim being rejected.

Change of Mind

Should you change your mind; you are not entitled to a refund. It will be up to the discretion
of Ecobiom pty ltd and we may offer a store credit instead, less a 10% restocking fee and
any fees associated with purchases made through any payment method where there is a fee
passed on and less any freight. For more information about your consumer rights please

Your Consumer Rights

Ecobiom pty ltd follows Australian Consumer Law with regards to refunds and returns. We
are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. You can
choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item (a) has a
problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it;
(b) is unsafe: (c) is significantly different from the sample or description; (d) doesn’t do what
we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in
value. It the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not
repaired in a reasonable time, you can choose a refund or replacement. For more
